Hi, welcome to "Sapphire Moon Minis", a small rabbitry located on Sydney's Northern Beaches where we work exclusively with mini lop and mini cashmere lop bunnies.
I'm an experienced hobby breeder and all my bunnies are kept in good conditions and have a good quality of life. They are part of our family and have plenty of free range time and cuddles. They are handled daily from the day their eyes open and are carefully supervised with my two children. They are fed a good diet of fresh hay, quality pellets, fresh greens, grass and weeds. They are checked daily for good health and we visit the vet if necessary.
My mini lops have been carefully selected for good temperaments and good type. None of my rabbits bite and hence this behaviour is not passed on to the babies. They are placid, friendly, often quite funny and generally easy to handle. They are happy and healthy and purebred. With no cross breeding involved there is far less chance of teeth problems and I will not breed a rabbit with any teeth problems or any other medical condition that can be genetic.
I have acquired a wealth of knowledge on my bunny journey and I'm happy to help answer your questions and concerns before you start on yours. A bunny is a ten years plus commitment so it's good to be informed before you invest your time and money. Unfortunately, some households are just not suited to bunnies.
